Incoloy 800 is a solid solution strengthened alloy with a typical composition of 32% nickel, 46% iron, 21% chromium, and small amounts of aluminum, titanium, and carbon. It is commonly used in environments with moderate sulfur content.
Incoloy 800H is a modified version of Incoloy 800 with higher carbon content (0.05-0.10%) to improve its creep resistance at high temperatures. This alloy is often used in applications where extended exposure to elevated temperatures is required.
Incoloy 800HT is another variation of Incoloy 800 that has further modifications to enhance its high-temperature properties. It has a higher maximum allowable stress for long-term use at temperatures above 1000°F (540°C).
